If you sit atop a ship

13/10/2010 § 1 Comment

If you sit atop
a ship
And chew a piece of
white gum
You’ll find colorful
brown sand, the kind that’s
rusted monkey bars,
still cold
for someone to touch.

And if you look far
dancing stalks of grass,
so free,
constant beeping of
the whisper of the
wise trees,
the wind fingering
your hair,
all atop a ship.

Majestic clouds dare
blotting God’s divine
blue sky.
And if your eyes pass
hopscotch playgrounds, they
will see
a lone tether ball.

If you sit atop
a ship
A lone tether ball,
is found.
